No air from head level vents when set to bi-level.

I had to replace my blower motor resistor. I now got everything hooked back up the right way, I have no seals so I'm not losing air to leak and the cable that actuates the flap does its job when switching between recycle and bi-level. On recycle I get air coming through the face level vents but on bi-level where I can get fresh cold air it only comes out the bottom vents by my feet. I am at a loss as to what could be the cause, has anyone seen this before?

Sorry I can't help with your problem. I don't think the blower motor resistor would have anything to do with this. Did you fix the problem?

I do need to replace my resistor but am having trouble sourcing it. Where did you get yours. I am working on a '88 vert. Have attached picture of the resistor. I think it is an update from the open coil style. The older one is easier to source.
