I've met some better 'glassers than the twit I hired to make a mold for the vented hood I tried. I'll look into this one. I'm a bit leary, though, as it's more of a skin than a proper mold. No bracing to make it hold it's shape.

This type of molding requires a vacuum system in order to give you that perfect hood, so there is no need for bracing. I am currently making a one of a kind body kit for my RX7, so stay tune for future pics.

I wonder if they still sell them???
I have emailed them on many occasions and they have never replied. I have asked for better pics as well as some from different angles and no replies. It makes me leiry to even try and order one from them.

I may bite the bullet and buy their cheapest product (spoiler I guess, they had a tri-point strut for the same price, and you could choose the color you wanted it powercoated in) from them next check or something.

I have put a Auction Snipe on it. If you guys don't drive the price up, I will buy it,and have my Fiberglass guy sell them to us at a discount. Judging from the seller's location of the mold - this IS the correct one I want.

D'you have the underside bracing and hardware design down, DF? Or will your 'glasser take care of that? Either way, that'd be awesome. If I produce 'em in Canada the majority of customers will still be from south of the 49th, and shipping will thus be pricier for the majority.

If, howevey, you produce them down there than only the Canucks, Aussies, and others pay the higher shipping (though I'd be shocked if the Aussies don't already have 7 different hoods in designer colors available). And you'll send me one just 'cause

By the way,
I ended up getting this mold. It was a mission, as the Seller
was "less than perfect".

I don't have the underside of it. I was planning to use a stock underside
to keep all the original mounting points, stock hardware, and greater overall strength.

Any ideas or recommendations?
