synthetic oil in rotarty ! no no ???

Yes the documentation says specifically "non-synthetic". However for the other cars it doesnt specify anything about synthetics. It just gives you the oil weight.

W/o a posted pic or a link, this is still hearsay. It's just as legit as me just saying, "I was at the dealership and asked to look at the oil recommendations and the brochure I saw said to use synthetic oil in the rotary exclusively." and everyone having to accept in on faith.

Geeze what do I have to do to prove it to you guys, scan the freaking manual? This was discussed on the rx8 forum not too long ago as well.

Hmmmm....yea, that might be enough...a scan of an old paycheck shouldn't be necessary....

i had a similiar situTion where i baked my t2 cause of the coolant hose splitting , i ran mobile syn and cooled it down before i shut it off , it run 70k more miles and that bitch was hot now , it was crackleing
