Switch Mount Needed

I need the power window switch mounting plate from an 84-85. Mine's a GSL-SE though I'm almost certain this piece is the same on other cars of the same year.

I'd prefer burgundy though will consider other colors.

I ordered one from the dealership ($30 CDN) then they called and said it'll be here Octobrer 27th. Hoping one of you has one I can buy off you much sooner.

I just pulled the window switches out of an SE at the local u-pull. I left the plate though, if I get out there again real soon I'll pick it up. BTW, today was the first day the car was on the lot.

That'd be fantabulous, Lynn. I'd appreciate that.

FedEx ground? Should be about $20. Might even be able to FedEx it as a 'letter' in a small parcel box via air for the same price. As long as the clips are protected, as that's the only thing broken on the part I already have.

NOT UPS. those Brownies charge huge broker's fees just to cross the world's only undefended border

I take it time doesn't matter now? FedEx won't make it by Monday, I can ship it by mail and you'd get it later next week, way cheaper.

If you could find me the part that fits under the steering column by the ignition switch I would be very happy. My husband has a 38" inseam and is hard on that piece. I've replaced it once and would like another spare, just in case.

the lower half of the plastic steering column cover?

Mine was cracked from someone overenthusiastically tightening the screws, but I welded it back together.

I can pull the one off my '83 for ya - I forget off hand if the upper or lower piece has the decal for the combination switch, but the decal is there. It's maroon/faded brown.

Sorry, no ICQ. Just contacted the shipping store, nobody promises 1 day delivery out of the country anymore, customs is the hold up. I missed the pick up today anyway, should of stayed home from work. If I send it tomorrow it will be in Canada by Sat, but then it's anybody's guess.
