Why can I not find stuff like this in Texas. If I do find one they want $5k for it. $2500 is a steal on the '80.

Well, it gets a minus because it's a 13B, but a plus because it's a bridge port

enlighten me: why would you think of it as a minus for a 13b in a former 12a chassis?

12As feel better

I dunno, I've never liked the biggest version of an engine series... I like 429's over 460's... I like 340's over 360's... I like 327's over 350's and especially over 400's, etc.

Plus, Mazda just made it much more expensive to rebuild a 3mm-seal 13B, while keeping prices for 12A's the same.

Note to mention the rotor housings o rings being made into the steel housings instead Mean you can only lap side housings once maybe twice

Each time I read a reply from Peejay, it's to the point and well thought out. Wish you lived closer and could help me on a rebuild and port job on my 12a.

Only on '86-up models... '85-down engines have the O-ring grooves on the rotor housings where they belong

My 85 is tender blue, cant beleive so many of you guys like it... I dont like it. But I got the car cheap, and its gonna be my lil sleeper, and I think tender blue fits it good... even tho I dont like it, I might try to add a little blue pearl when I paint it, might be interesting....
