suspension setups

My car understeers like crazy so I was looking to upgrade the suspension.

So far I have tockico 5 ways, suspension technique springs, RB strut tower bar, RB sway bars. I'm looking to get new tires next and then modify the suspension further.

Does anyone know where I can buy camber plates, arms, rods, etc... for my 1st gen? Someone posted a link a while back but I lost it....

Also, does anyone have any 1st gens with heavily modified suspension? I'm looking to track the car soon, and want it to handle as well as possible...

Describe:

- The conditions during which it understeers. What type of driving, what you are doing, etc.
- The tires you have and what pressures they are at.
- What your alignment is set to.
- Whether you have limited slip or not, and if by chance it was recently rebuilt.

With your setup as is, it should not "understeer like crazy".

Suggestion, try the car with the rear anti-sway bar disconnected at one end, you'll be surprised.

Well, that may help to reduce oversteer, but his issue is understeer. If you want to buy more parts, then go for it. But if you want to adjust what you have so that it works properly, then you can do that to. You already have a nice setup, and there's no reason that it should be performing poorly for you. To reduce understeer, you're going to either need to get more grip to the front end or reduce it at the rear. A heavier sway bar or stiffer springs in back, or a softer front swaybar or softer springs in front. Either one of those would change this for you. But first, as someone esle already asked, is your alignment correct? Its actually pretty tough to set up a 7 so that it will understeer...

1st gen understeer??? Are sure you not just going to fast into the turn
braking too late. I know how you drive

Come drive my wrx wagon if you want to see what understeer is all about.

If the LSD is too tight, it will make you push when you accelerate coming out of a corner. This is exacerbated on tight corners like in an autocross. It is usually manageable on a race track as the rear is in a slide.
