and the thing with centrifugal is that they do not get their power untill the late RPMS and would not hit full boost until around 8k and that would not be good on the engine after many 8ks and would cause it to eventually blow. What are some whipples and centrifugals that have worked WELL with our 7?
I've already proved that a whipple is more than sufficent on a rotary. You don't need to rev the **** out of the charger to get decent numbers out of it. I've already dyno'd a whipple at 350hp. As for the centrifugals, their boost rises expotentially (sp?), so although peak boost is at whatever you rev to, they still make usable power through that band, however there's not many properly sized for us.

There really isn't, some of us liked the unique idea, but when we did it, we hated the result.

The m90 flat out sucks. It has terrible efficiency and makes more heat than anything, over 8psi the thing turns into a hair dryer, and at 8psi it hardly makes enough power to be worth it. I've built many supercharged rx7's using all sorts of chargers, and so far the whipple/twin-screws have performed the best. They also cost the most.

Superchargers are a blast. The low end is unreal compaired to a Turbo. I have one of each now, and find that my supercharger excites me much more by far that my turbo. I'm not sure if people remember Iotus and his 85 gsl se, but I bought his car. Couldnt feel more honored for Jeoff to sell us his car. It's part of our family now. I have lots of plans for Iotus.

For regular driving I prefer Iotus(turbo) rather than Blue(SC), but for fun I prefer Blue(SC) over Iotus (turbo) anyday. I don't regret the Supercharger at all. It's just been a more frustrating road. There's not many regrets except for a few issues, mainly heat and tech support. The more power you want, the hotter things get...lol

I think Camden has come a long ways in improving the Blower. It's just still a bit hot under that hood. If they came up with some sorta intercooler setup to add to the blower, they would have much better success rate. I think the Camden has a lot of good about them. I just don't think they care much.

Heres a couple photos of each... Blue is the dark car and Iotus is the Blue green car.

Guess I now know.

Both cars are Perfect. I love them and have always loved the Blue car.

Ha ha Blue is the girl and Iotus is the Boy
Some time this summer I want the two to race against each other. Last year Blue beat Iotus without an intercooler, but Iotus now has one. It will be a close race since there's been more done to Blue also. I know Blue will take Iotus at the start, but Iotus is pretty tough once he gets going.

Geoff's car was prretty sweet.... congrats. I recall he really needed a new EMU to get the car running to its maximum, but he didn't really want to spend more cash.
