Maybe you could pipe the A/C into the carb, and the exhaust into the cabin! Oh, wait I don't think that would work too well either....

Keep smoking man...

Okay, okay, Next time, when you think, this is a stupid idea..... Remember Loki's three step process.....

1.) Think it over again, does it seem stupid?
2.) Write it down, does it look stupid?
3.) Say it aloud, does it sound stupid?

If your idea meets the above criteria, it is indeed stupid. However if you are in doubt feel free to PM me, so that I can tell you it is in fact stupid.....

Nice, in theory, IT SHOULD WORK!! Do a write up on re-routing the a/c into the intake I bet all the noobs will start doing it.

Sort of like how Bristol Cars made an intercooler using an A/C evaporator, or how the supercharged Lightning and Cobra fit an intercooler under the blower...

If you use it to only aid in cooler intake charge temps, I don't see how it could hurt. As long as you don't plumb it to only allow for the a/c to be the air going into the intake. Run your intake as normal, but just let the a/c blow in the path of the intake suction. It will still draw in the normal amount of air, but the ~65* air temp will help cool the intake charge.

I'm not talking about hooking it up like they did with the leaf blower, but just so that the intake will suck in some of the a/c.

Hell, better yet, plumb it into your exhaust if you have emission restrictions.

Why not just route the exhaust into the intake because it is preheated. Maybe that will help cold starts.

yes the heater hose runs out from the inside the heat shield around the manifold, from there into your intake.

I know that the exhaust is routed into the intake to help with cold starts. What I'm saying is route the a/c to blow INTO the exhaust after the header to help aid in cooling the exhaust and cutting down on the extreme mixture of gases that don't get your asses passed emissions.
