Stupid oil cooler question

I'm building a Bridgeported 12A right now, and while deciding what I should do about an oil cooler, my dad suggested using a sandwich adapter and run both the beehive and a second gen FMOC. Has anyone ever done this? Any resons why I shouldn't?

Seems awfully complicated to me, just use a FMOC and be done with it

Double Oil Coolers

I would think it to be overkill to use two coolers. It looks a lot cleaner to just have a pedestal and oil filter on the side of the engine, and two oil lines coming off the side. Plus, the FMOC works really well at keeping the temp of the oil well within reason.

also, I would think that there would be alot of negative complications of such a complex system such as leaks. keeping either one from leaking is a challenge, I would not want to do both.

Waste of time, space and efficiency running both.
