Stupid Nikki question - what goes on this one nipple?

I can't find it in any diagram because all of the diagrams I can find are overly generalized, and can't find it in any pictures.

The large brass thread-in fitting that is between and just below the oil line fittings on the carb. What goes there?

I removed the carb from my '81 to try and install this '79 carb that I bought, because I was getting no fuel to the engine at idle no matter what I'd been trying, and I kind of prefer the SA carbs. But my '81 carb was mostly stripped, and I never heard the car run with this carb, so I don't know if I'm missing something or not...

I'm trying to return it to stock, or stock-plus. I know from experience with my '85 that an SA carb works just fine with the FB emissions computer controlling solenoids and such, and I kind of prefer the SA carb anyway, but (and this is really weenie of me) the cad plating on the '81 carb is still mostly intact so I'd prefer to use it if possible.

Thanks!

Toruki, what are those AC looking lines going into the motor? And the part above it that looks like a sideways distributor.... is that your Cruise Control?

PeeJay, I have the cold-start tank/motor if you're looking to restore the car.

Car is pretty far gone to be "restored" (it has been repainted, and has coilovers, and good luck finding Nikki parts, and the converters are gone) but I am mainly looking for stock-like looks and drivability.

I'll have to check, but I am pretty sure that for every year, there was a tech bulletin to remove the cold start assist tank/hoses. My car still has it, but I may remove it for correctness.

Yep and yep from the looks of it. I've never actually seen a factory cruise control unit - looks to be a pretty standard vacuum type based on the photo. All carbs have the linkages for cruise control even if it wasn't installed.

Those AC lines are headed to the evaporator which mounts in the passenger footwell behind the glovebox, or at least that's how 79-83 does it. It just replaces the flex pipe that runs from the blower to the heater core box.
