i got one for 79 in a 55 when i was getting passed by another car, but i was the kid driving a shiny convt. with a tall blonde sitting next to me. they weren't gonna give it to the guy in the caddy that was passing me

same cop that tried to get me for the noise violation tried to get me for speeding latter he pulled up be hind me and tailled me so close i couldn't see any thing behind or infrunt didn't know it was a cop at the time so i step it down a bit to get out of this cars way and then the lights come on. i was tempted to get out a kick the **** outa the little f#$*er im usually a calm person but after several runnins with this cop i was really tempted he wouldn't have stood a chance. i faught that ticket im friends with the local majestrait so he told the youg guy if he ever catches him trying that kinda bs again hes gonna be gone and paing the fines for it as well

Well recipiants attitude has lots todo with what happens, and the officer has had many chances to observe you aat other times. He remembers the times he didnt ticket you.when you have one coming ,take it like a man. Pounding on cops is not a good idea,it only encourages them and energizes them and they enjoy it. also it amazes me that there is such a lack of spelling ability amoung the young people today. do you have spell check? Sometime put yourself in the patrol car and ride with the men in blue,or brown or grey, spend a few nights listening to the crap they listen to and put up with, it might do you guys some good to see how the other half lives.

Bob Holton, I don't think you need to be taking this personally.
Everybody needs to blow off a little steam.
I've never gotten a ticket though I've been pulled over twice. I blame the guys that pulled me over for both situations (both rode my *** so I sped up to get out of their way) but I give them props for being cool and just giving me a warning (honestly I think they were curious if I was drunk, but after talking to me knew that wasn't the case).

In related news, my father is the mayor for my town, so I get to hear all the fun stuff that happens on Halloween night. The county cops are complete ********, and have even gone so far as to knock kids to the ground for the crap they try to pull (are they gonna take somebody to the city lockup for throwing an egg at somebody else that had eggs on them as well?). The state troopers, on the other hand, are embarrassed by the sheriffs' actions. So I think it makes a big difference who you're dealing with.

And one of my friends training to be a cop has rode in the cars going 120 mph in a 65 mph zone. I've heard at least one other story to the same effect. It's kind of a crappy deal that cops will sit back and do nothing (or in one case, laugh) while other cops are breaking the law, but in some cases people will be pulled over for doing 5 mph over the speed limit.


I won't even get into how pissed off I am about my parking tickets, but those are completely different cops


And I'm with you about the spell check. I do my best to have perfect spelling and grammar whenever I can. (And that includes capitalization and punctuation.)

You should be able to fight that easily!! Just explain to the judge what happened and that it was an accident. He should let you off. NEVER just roll over and take something like that. Next time you get pulled over, that cop runs your licence and sees "recless driving" and gives you another ticket... pretty soon you've lost your licence for doing little tiny stupid ****.

sorry my spelling sucks and the fact that i had been up for the last 40+ hours straight probably didn't help and no i don't have a spell check and sorry if my attitude towards cops affends you most town cops i know were the kids that got hasselled when they were younger and use thier badge to get back at people my little cuz included, thats the only reason hes tring to be a cop
and yeah i hope he pisses somebody off and they kick the **** out of him and stuff him in the trunck of his own car hell maybe i'll do it

i have met a few cops that i get along with and even go out of my way to talk to. one of the campus cops from Lockhaven University he busted me for an under age but he was cool about it and i had no problem with him infact we descussed mixed drinks and what the stuff he confiscated(sp) went with, while he was writing up our summens papers and a couple of state troopers one guy is an under cover he was driving a supped up vette took me for a ride nice guy cool as hell awsome car 200mph car easy one of the alumni from my fraturnity is a state trooper and federal martial from north carolina great guy kinda scary but really cool

but, I know down here, if you get a ticket, you cant get another one in 24 hours for the same thing... so if you got one for accel, or what ever, go do a burn out in front of the cop....
