ditto. i'm also running the roadrace header on my sp engine. this header will give u two different choices on how to run the exhaust after it depending on the type of sound it will have. keeping the two pipes seperate and collecting them at the muffler will have a more tinny sound to it compared to collecting it off the header and running a single pipe back to the muffler. either way, there's no sound like the sound of a rotary and when u get used to that sound, when u hear it u know what it is before u see it.

I have the complete RB dual to Power Pulse mufler on one car & the single RB system on the other. The one w/ the 2 presilecers sounds throatier & feels freer. Go for the whole RB exhaust system if you can. I tried others & always came back to RB.

correct me if im wrong the streetable is longer right....now im not sayin i dont agree with u on tha race headers but i've heard that longer headers get more torque....im sure there's gonna be some gay *** say 'rotaries arent known for torque an bla bla bla' but it's just a question

Deffinatly go with the Race header. It seems to be the one to chose.
I did... Now just have to get off my lazy butt and install it

If you get the RB streetport system, ELIMINATE THE REAR MUFFLER AND ADD YOUR OWN!!!!
The piping gets SMALLER than the rest of the system instead of larger like most performance exhausts. Installing one on my buddies SE, I measured the pipes at UNDER 2"....how stupid is that. A big fat restriction just where you DON'T need it.
On my Rx2 I'm running the RoadRace, dual 2.25 pipes back to a 2.5" pipe to 2.5" muffler...I really need to go 3" at the end......much more power than the SP system!!

Anyhow, like the name implies, a collector merges the two separate exhaust pipes into one. Generally the further away from the exhaust ports you collect your header pipes, the more power you will make. However I do believe that low end power/torque suffers if you go this route. If the car is primarily street driven you will see good gains with a shorter system while still maintaining what little low end drivability these motors have to begin with.
I have the street system installed and it makes a very noticeable power difference without making a large dent in my low end drivability. Also I should point out that RB claims that exhaust piping after the header doesn't need to be bigger than the stock connecting pipe, the power isn't improved by larger diameter piping. I don't have any practical experience with different exhaust sizings but it's something to consider nonetheless. I think the rule of thumb is 2.25 to 2.5 inches for a non-turbo rotary.
