strange problem with horn?!

strange problem with horn?!

Ok so I'm drivin an makin a turn slightly pressin down on the outsideedge of the steering wheel, and the horn honks, this has happned quite a few times already when I get in an out of the car leanin a lil on the wheel also, its strange because it doesn't hapen all the time I make a turn has anyone else encountered this problem?....I haven't taken the wheel off to further investigate just yet

if you peal the plastic cover off the front of the horn you can open that up, my guess is that the spring that forces the horn button out is slack or there are wires touching in there.

You may have to check and see if one of the wires have come loose, causing it to short.

is all that holds the cover on glue??? i ahve a gsl se and i need to take my sterring wheel off but ime affraid to pull on the center cap is that all it is is glue??

there is no glue just peel it off...it will come off with ease...to put it back on ...make sure the mazda logo is level lol and push it back on...you'll have to enure a few seconds of your horn blasting to get it back on but its as easy as that

it just folds under a metal ring
take your fingers around the edge and pull it back.

To clarify, the entire horn button comes off in 1 piece, don't mess with the logo. Bad mojo.
