Thanks coldy and Dad! That's just how my RX-7 looks also. I ordered a new engine and pulled the old one today. It turns out that one of the rear apex seal has a 1" long crack that runs about 1/32" into the seal. It's a good thing that I pulled the engine because my clutch disc was wearing down right into the rivets! Whew! Does anyone know why it's mostly an apex seal on the rear rotor that decides to go?
