Steering box replacement?

i couldnt find if there were any write ups on this subject. is it simple to replace the steering box in my 82 gsl? there is so much play, and that screw has been tightened past its peak.

is this a big project? how much should i pay for one at a junk yard?

Check in the archive, I think I saw one there. Tightening that little screw does nothing like what you would expect. I was fooled by that too. There are several writeups on how to make the needed adjustment, but it involves loosening the large nut, then turning the medium nut. The smallest inner nut is pretty much left alone.
