Lets see, you don't want to mod but your thinking of a 13B twin turbo or
street ported 12A

So you don't want to do a lot of work but you want a lot more power?

I don't know but I think you need to search and read up a bit before even
discussing it more.

Even a stock S4 13BT will give you a lot more power than a streetported 12A, and it'll be nicer to drive. But it's also a lot more work and expense.

jdm's are dice rolls. You may get a winner, you may not.

I'm certainly no expert, but if you've got a 12a and you're planning on "just" dropping in a JDM 13b turbo..... trust me, it's a LOT of work.
Fuel delivery, engine management, electronics....it's a ton of work.
If you do deciede to take this on.....keep my name and number handy....I'll be happy yo give you 30 cents on the dollar when you post in the For Sale section

Yeah... there's nothing "throw it right in" about it. And those JDM engines are usually good as rebuildable cores, not much else.

Budget between $10-$12k for the entire swap, and you will pass it. It is a lot of work and lots of little things come up that quickly add up (ask me how I know).

The only JDM engine I ever bought needed a rebuild. You will need a turbo, manifold, GSL-SE parts, intercooler, fuel pump, ECU, BOV, gauges, better wheels and tires... I would rough estimate that everything that I have done to my car (including widebody) has run me $15-$20k.
