Stable bragging rights

I'm bragging that my stable is tops: 4 FBs running sweet AND a REPU running sweet! (Of course, each of them has a little work scheduled!). Too bad I can't get a picture of them together: I have them spread across three sites to Preserve The Domestic Tranquility.

Top that!

Uhm.. how about: My wife doesn't require me to keep my toys in seperate, off-site locations yet my domestic tranquility is well-preserved?

Okay, so I've got the two boring daily drivers, the bike, and the -SE. Not a very full stable, but my wife did tell me that if I wanted to bring home a Triumph GT6, Mk III that she'd give up her garage space for its restoration.

My neighbors turned me in, the cop tipped me , we all met at my place, they said I had a junker stored there, the cop couldnt see one, it was covered with a tarp that had a couple small holes in it. what is that ? a wood pile . why can I see red through the holes? red wood! whyis it shaped like a car? cause I put long stuff on the bottom and short stuff in the middle. he turns to the complainer , I dont seee a junk car anywhere! enters his car and leaves me stareing at the neighbors junky looking 81 pu They aint all bad, our cops.My wife dont give much static.

My wife thinks we should park ALL cars offsite so we don't have to look out the window and see a car. Including her Escort. At least she stopped grumbling about my REPU and one FB.

(1) Porsche 944 Turbo (951), (2) Mazda Rx-7's ('83 GS & '84 GSL), (1) Subaru WRX hatchback, (1) Arctic Cat 4WD 4wheeler, (1) Skidoo GSX500ssREV, oh yeah and the Yoda. All at one site way off in the middle of the woods where I call home! Most people would call my location a great place for a camp. I haven't seen a car go buy in over a week.

FB and a Chrysler Concorde in my garage,

FC, Miata, and 4 snowmobiles "stored" in my parents garage ('til they get back from FL)

When they come home and want their garage back I guess the wife will have to park outside

5 rotary powered vehicles owned by the same guy?

5 rotaries. All running good. All driveable. I drive nothing but rotaries.

The best is still the Misty Blue 83 GS 12A: whips around the hilly curves up here on the hill like they were made for it. Sure the inside rear wheel lifts on occasion. How else you gonna know you're going fast enough?

My domestic tranquility is great. I like being rotary only.

5 rotary projects; two REPUs, Cosmo, MG rotary conversion, GLC rotary conversion. One REPU needs an engine. The GLC is almost running for the first time with a rotary in it (the REPU's 13B). The rest run to a certain extent. I'll get them all running some time this year.

'85 SE (in mint condition BTW)
'04 Mazda3 Sport
'02 Jeep TJ

I think I have the bases covered:

The SE is my favorite for obvious reasons - a fun to drive sports car that I have always wanted since they 1st hit the streets

The Mazda3 is what gets me around cheap and is still fun to drive - also used for the longer roadtrips where comfort is a must and cargo space is needed

The Jeep gives me 4WD in the winter and a vert in the summer - plus the off road fun.

I have exactly what I want parked out front

Yay for my FB and S12 200SX!
I wish I had a repu... those were rad. A friend of mine had one that he raced Ferarris and Bimmers with.

Seeing as I sold the 20B Cosmo last week I don't have anything.

That should be changing in the next few days though.

Yeah, there's a difference between a stable and a junk/graveyard

'84 GSL-SE and '03 Dakota. My Dakota's a regular cab with a 4.7L V8, a LSD, and 5-speed manual. It goes like stink and can tow my RX-7, too. I tow my RX-7 to the road race tracks with it, then I run 'em both. My RX is faster and more fun to drive, but the truck is no slouch. Hmm -- maybe it'd be faster if I ran without the trailer

In stark contrast, I don't like looking out the window and seeing the driveway. Or the lawn.
