I'm planning on getting that same setup for my 79. I'm also getting some carbon fiber zg's but don't know which ones, the regular ones or the wide version. I think the difference is 1-3/8 for both fenders.

And some lowering springs. Holy wheel gap batman! How much room do you have to the inside spring? Could you get a shop to machine them down to change the offset? Would tuck them in a little nicer...

What tire size are you running? Did you have your fenders rolled? Are they rubbing at all?

They look great on your car.

Not sure how you managed this..What brand tire were you using?

I picked up a set of these XXR's and am having a tough time getting them to fit. They are currently wrapped in Bridestone Re-01's and I had about half a steering wheel turn from center to left or right before they were hitting fender. I tried rolling the fenders and that helped a tad bit, but still couldn't turn. Most likely going to have to cut into the front fenders.

Also curious about the tire size.....the car/stance looks great. Fender flares would just look great on there.

i think they are 225/45.15 Hankook RS-2.

I have rolled my fenders, and have Re-Speed Coilovers. Running -.4 deg neg front camber.

These would fit with the factory suspension, but it rubs every time I turned.

What would need to be done to make them not rub.

Fender Rolling and adjusting the camber and toe?

I rolled my fenders pretty tight, and my Spring Rates are 350/175. Camber didnt matter, but I dont run fender liners either.

I dont rub AT ALL. and this is an Auto-x car. must be the stiff springs saving me!

I just bought a 1990 Turbo Miata and was thinking about getting these. They 16x8 look sweet on this Rotary miata.

If I decide to wait and spend a little more money, I might get these instead.

or these ESM wheels

Not sure if they will fit First gens, but they would look nice.
