Megan Coilovers with Sportmax's 002 wheels

Hello everyone, I have an 1989 Gtu and i am in the process of installing coilovers and buying rims. As the title says, i will be getting The Sportmax 002's. Thinking of going 16x8 in the back and 16x7 in the front (black with polished lip). I am a little on the confused side about the Coilovers. they are megan racing coilovers...i really don't want high end performance as it will be just a daily driver thing. Does anybody have these coilovers on their car or have any suggestions as far as this being a good choice? Any comments would be appreciated. Here you can find the specs for the coilovers---> http://www.optionimports.com/meracokitmar1.html

i have these on my 7 and i love them. the front doesnt go as low as i was hoping but the dampening settings make up for it. i have daily driven my coilovers for about 3 months now and even on the track settings they were tolerable.

this is with the fronts all the way down and the rear still has about 8 inches till its maxed out

megans suck! hhaha i have megans and i dont really perfer them.
You can get your car lower by the way, you have to remove some preload on the springs.

I dont really like them, i think the dampening isnt too smooth.. the adjustment **** doesnt feel precise. But they do thier job. Make sure you adjust all coilovers evenly, getting the car corner weighted at a race shop is a good idea too.

If i had the cash i would buy Teins, or Stance, or KTS. I still cant get over the company naming themselves Megan.. thats like having a shop called Mellisa Racing lol.

as far as the sportmax, theres a guy on here that has them on his black fc. they look pretty good. Im not a fan of sportmax wheels *typical knock off copies of classic wheels*, but i looked at a pair yesterday and they where decently light.

If you haven't bought anything yet, IMO, I would save a couple hundred more and get some good entry level coilovers, stance, tein, gc/koni etc.

Or not buy the rims and just get some good sticky tires, then spend the rest on the best suspension you can get with bushing and all.

peace
