Sportmax 002 on FB

I'm sure this will be moved, but I wasn't sure where it should go. I've used the search feature to no avail.

Has anybody used the sportmax 002 on their FB? I've seen all the links with them on the miata, the FC and a few others. I want to know if this will in fact fit on the FB. I am interested in the 15x7 version, but am concerned with the 0 offset. Are they all 0 offset?

Any help would be appreciated. The other ones I like are the Konig Rewinds, but not sure if I'd go 14 or 15 on those. My GSL-SE needs one wheel and four tires, so I figured I'd get wheels & tires. Thanks!

Billy, what size tires are you running on your 15x8's? That's the size wheel I want on my widebody. Any rubbing issues?

Are they all 0 offset though. On the website it says 0 offset for the 15x8, but I just want 15x7. How much does it stick out on the 15x8 from the hub? If its less than the 1" difference between a 15x7 and 15x8, then wouldnt the 15x7 fit flush?

205/50/15 's these are toyo spec miata tires. I chose these since I can get take offs cheap.

What about 10" rears and 9" fronts? I have some old school GOTTI wheels for a wide body up for sale. Check out the link in my sig.

15x7 zero offset would be 3.5" backspace
15x8 zero offset would be 4.0" backspace

Our wide body is not as wide as most but it is wider than stock. zero offset 8" would stick out on a stock body by more than the half inch difference in the 7".

Thanks billy.

I have an extra set of '88 SE wheels (phone dials) that are in good shape, I'll probably just go with those for now. My main goal was to get a set of four good wheels on the car for less than a grand. Thanks!

With a GSL-SE rearend,I ran my 15x7 Centerlines with 12MM of + offset and they didnt rub after I rolled the fenders. With GSL running gear they fit easily, even without fender rolling......

They are hard to beat for track wheels though. $350 shipped. It was tough for me to find something that would fill the fenders but not have to much rubber to slow the car down.

With SE lenght axles they need about 1/2" spacer in the rear to fully fill the wide body fenders.

ok, so to clarify, im looking at the 002 also, in the 15x7 +0et

Ive got an 84 GSL with 85 GSL-SE hubs and axles.

how close/ not close will these be to the fender?

What would be the optimal offset for my setup on a set of 15x7 wheels to make them flush to the fenders (which I have already rolled/pulled the rears slightly)

too true. played out played out, and personally from the ones I've seen in person.. they are like China grade.. don't look like they're made or built that well. Get some 15x7 meshies and you'll be good, bling bling!

Imho, Phone dials have gone the way of the rotary dial telephone and don't belong on a 1st gen. They don't have the right offset either. When I bought my FC those rims were the first thing to go and replaced by a set of Voxx Ergs, 16X7rims. I couldn't believe how much of a difference they made in cornering, handling they made over the stock 14X6 Phone Dials.
