Sparco Seats in a first gen

Well, I just came across the opportunity to get a set of sparco sprint seats for 150$(both) from a good friend. Now, this would be great, ecspecially since I have worn out stock seats. I was wondering if they would fit or not, where I could get brackets, or if I am going to have to fabricate them myself. thanks

i have a torino in mine and its a lot (2"?) narrower than the stock seat (and like 2x the wieght), i had to make brackets to get it to bolt to the stock sliders. it actually took a long time to figure out the simplest way to do it.
150 for both is a good deal though

You can buy the brackets at www.nopi.com.

I have a set of Corbeau Forza's that fit OK but I;ve not fitted them permenantly yet ... the RHS seat bracket is kind of sifficult because of the exhaust bulge

That's exactly what I'd like to do for seats. If you don't mind, keep us updated on how you go with this. I'm very curious.

And remember, pics tell a thousand words...

Thanks.

seats

I'll keep you guys updated. I should be getting the seats wednesday, If it looks like I can fab up some brackets myself, I will. Otherwise, I'm going to have to wait awhile, suspension/tires comes first. heh, maybe I will start a thread on an affordable street suspension/tires setup

Be sure and tell us if they can be made to sit lower than the stock seats. I need to get something that can be made to sit lower. Autox is pretty nice, my helmet can stick out the sunroof. But at the drag strip it sucks having my head tilted to fit in the car

Yeah, something that will sit lower would suit me better in the 85GSL. The 83GS fits pretty good.
