Repaint questions.

Ok so soon enough I will be repainting my 85 GS. Planning to keep it the stock tender blue color, but I have a front air dam which was on the car at purchase and have picked up a Mariah mode four rear which I want to also put on. My question is should I paint it all the same color. I was thinking about painting the air damn and bumper gloss black for effect but was wondering what you all thought. I think it might look cool all one color including mirrors and such. Sill keeping my trim and what not but going to do the engine bay and clean the engine which is already painted at the same time too. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Ben

I wouldn't go gloss black - satin (or semi-gloss) would look more aggressive. I don't recommend flat black either - stains too easily and looks like somebody primed it, but didn't have the money to paint it

I think if paint just the bumpers black it's going to look like zookeeper said, like you ran out of money and just slapped them on. If you painted the lower half of your doors black ala late-80s Mustang it would look better, but not as good as one color IMO.

None of the Mustangs came with black on the bottom. They either had the gray as in the picture or they were all one color. My point being that if you paint the lower half black no one's going to think you copied a Mustang paint scheme.
