SOS (broken spark plug)

Anyone got an easy(ier) fix for removing a spark plug that broke up in the block than pulling the motor and spilting it. It's the upper front plug, it broke off flush. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated. thanks

no don't drill it out.
If it broke off, there is a good chance you cross-threaded the hole, in which case your screwed anyway

What color should he dye it?

If you can't get ahold of it with vise grips, try one of those "screw-out" things from Sears with a cordless drill. Or maybe an "easy-out". Really hard to tell without actually seeing it...

Re: SOS (broken spark plug)

So did you ever get this plug out?

I got lucky with the last plug that froze up, a pair of vice grips didi it but, it doesn't sound like you're gonna be so lucky.

After the calf is alive and kicking it's worth about $1,000-$1,200 for the both of them, maybe more. I've found a place I'm going to buy a rebuilt 13B for $1,895 plus $75 for new flywheel, i might even buy a new clutch. I have GOT to get a job!

ha ha ha

I polcerin (sorry bout speeling) blow out and my Dad is going to easy-out the plug and get it out. I found a 13B (most likely out of an early 2nd) with a fuel induction throttle body(or something like that) for $200. I think I am going to buy it and hop it up. It doesn't run but is pretty clean, do you think it's worth $200?

$200? Not bad if it comes with all the external stuff and is in good shape. But if it's out of a 2nd gen your gonna need all the stuff that goes along with it, or else a intake manifold and carb setup.

As for clutches I think I'm looking to spend about $250 for a centerforce clutch... well around that much anywho.
