it fits, but won't clear the intake. either a turbo intake needs to fitted (ugg)
or an aftermarket exhaust manifold. or some 2nd gen guys are making spacers to move the manifold out to clear the intake.

All T2's are 4 port motors

a Turbo 12a intake will need some modifying to fit a 13b

what are you trying to do, and then we can help you get the parts you need

Hello Max, my plans consist of full rebuild on a 12A streetported (from 85 GSL) wanna run a late model turbo from a 89+

I will have to use the rotors I have now , so I know it will be a low boost motor, but I think it will give me a little more bang for the buck.. Divorced with children budget here...

Ok, that works

Its going to cost alot for the custom parts, but possible, do you plan to go carb or FI $? If FI how will you control it? Haltech$?
If Carb, suck or blow thru? if blow thru intercooled?
since it will be low boost on a 12a, why not just run the 12a streetported with a yaw carb and save your money and build a T2 turbo conversion later?

I was planing on blow thru w/ FMIC, but I know thats gonna be expensive, unless I find soemthing used. I also know that I have to change my Oil cooler to a frontal mount too, as well as an upgraded fuel pump. I was planing on getting my carb modied by Yaw anyways, if I can get ahold of him...

Just like I said earlier this week, I already got this motor, but havent done any mods on it yet. Im just scared of the electronics with doing a full 13bt swap... Would be nice if someone had a site showing exactly what was needed to do it, and how much they spent for the parts, i can handle the bolt ups etc...

Gimme a year or so

I might have to move back to Cleveland, which means passing emissions is necessary, which means no turbo or bridge port on a 12A, the most I can possibly do is a big street port with a Yaw carb ($$$) and retain the rat's nest and retain the air pump and use a cat ($$$).

Or swapping engines every 2 years. That's not really a happy prospect right now.
