Something just hit me really hard, i just wish it would have sooner.

I was sitting here looking at old pictures of my car, going over all of my memories with it. Then it hit me, no one has bought any parts off of me, so i have a whole car sitting in my garage, all i need to do it put it back together for a few hundred dollar with an agressive street-port. I just wish this would have hit me sooner, I can't wait to drive her again.

lol

Well, why did you decide to part it out to begin with? Just because the engine blew? Hell, my first thought wouldve been to rebuild it first before parting it out...

I was just fed-up with the car and wanted something different, but i realized there's no car i would be happier with than my 7. The motor wasn't even blown, i was getting bad compression because of a bent apex seal spring and about 3 missing corner seal plugs. I'm just going to reuse all of the old seals.

The seals are still in great shape, if i blow a seal, i'll then think about buying a rebuild kit.
I'd just like to thank everyone for having no interest in my parts and not buying anything off of me... no, seriously.

Go for it. I just spent the weekend fixing up my other rx, I was going to sell it but now I want to keep it. Can't loose either way!

I found a lot of problems with it while i was pulling the engine, fouled plugs, broken distributor rotor, cap sliced nearly in half, just to name a few. She'll be twice as good this time around.

Subaru, not Hyundai. I didn't realize how much i loved the car until i didn't have it. I can't see myself driving any other car.

I went through the same deal. The engine died in my 83 GS and I thought I'd just part it out. I blew it off for a year and finally ran across a motor and decided to put it in just this past week. It's been the best thing I've done in a long time. All I want to do now is drive, drive, drive. The Rx-7 is one of the best handling cars I've ever owned and I've owned a lot of cars over the years.
