So who wants to buy my car real cheap?

Yup it's been one of those dayz like so many others lately.
Spent the last 2 weeks (8hrs weekends, 5-6hrs weekdays) on the 7.
about 90% of the engine bay has been painted, polished aluminum/stainless, or powdercoated.
Rewired most of the engine bay too. 2nd gen fuse block, rats removal.
Now I get it all back together, maybe a bit to fast, trying
to make it to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix on Sat. But I won't be going, doesn't seem to want to run right.
Missing alot, backfiring. Checked timing, plugs, wires.....
going to go over it tommorow to see if I can find out whats up, kinda depressing. But I know these things happen.
I know this thread is useless without pix
They will come this weekend, I'm quite proud of how she looks, damn fine if you ask me.
Also installed a harness bar which I might make copies of since it turned out so damn sweet. (yah need pix of that too)
So get ready for a flood of pix this weekend, 56k'ers get some drinks and popcorn ready!

A bit tired, mentaly and physicaly, But we will move on, get her fixed, and put a smile back on......

Oh incase your still wondering, NO its not for sale!!!

Oh come on, this is MAX7 we're talking about... Sell an RX-7? No way! Heck I've seen him try to do that once, and the car ended up back in his driveway anyway

I have a dumb question for you Mark.... Now I *know* you put all the grounds back in place... but are you trying to ground to paint?

hey I couldn't pass up buying a modded GSL-SE that runs 14's for $500 now could I ??

I reused all the grounds I had before, cleaned them up.
She runs good round 3k, but above or below, boom boom, boom..... time will tell, maybe I just missed something.....

Wonder what the AFM's doing?

If something is holding it jammed, it might be running super rich down low, super lean up top, but runs "just right" at around 3000?

well "just right" may be off, it don't backfire at 3k, you can feel and uneven spark, but its smoother than the other rpm's
