Ive been wanting to do this with my S5 tails.

I think it looks good but have you had any harrasment from the cops?

None so far, and I've passed quite a few cops in the last few days. They usually don't do anything because all the Mustang and Camaro guys always have those smoked lense covers on and they don't do anything about it

I blacked out all my lights that are in the rubber strips (turn signals and running lights) and like you the silver screws didn't look so good. I took some black paint and sprayed it into a small cup then procedded to paint the screws black with a tiny paint brush.
Looks MUCH better with the screws black...

the law in canada requires you to have a red reflector on the back of your car that is why i left the factory red one in the outer lens.
