Saltyslug, the carb box is internally separated from the intake and discharge sides it is polished on the inside, the fuel is sent through the carburetor into the carb box, down the piping spun and pressurized through the turbine and out the discharge pipe into the intake manifold back through the carb box and yes that is a Nikki carb somewhat modified for the setup. Several people have seen this setup and looked puzzled asking you mean to tell me your sending the fuel mixture trough the turbo and pressurizing it? That looks dangerous right next to the exhaust? Yea I am it works for me. Just for ***** with the thermal reactor gone you get it up to a nice cruising speed say about 50 or 60 let off the gas and let it coast it builds unburned exhaust gas up quickly you punch it and it shoots a three foot flame out the that scares the **** out any body behind you. Great fun!
