shouldnta done that...

ok, long story short, i disconnected my battery, and closed the hood. how do i re-open the hood?

if youre saying to yourself "the button still works, hes a retard", keep in mind that the reason i disconnected it was to pull the dashboard. its on its way back in, im hacking my way through it, but my buttons dont work. help?

Hood release is mechanical. Now if you meant the hatch, use your key, if you meant the fuel door, remove the interior wheel trim and reach in to pull the solenoid catch back.

Yup. The hood release is a cable. You will be able to release it same as if the handle was mounted, but you will need to hold the cable as you pull the handle.
The fuel door can be released without pulling the interior trim, if you're willing to work blind. I have had to do this 3 times, in the 2 years I have owned my car. Every once in a while, the solenoid just doesn't want to work, until after I have run my hand in there to manually open it......

lol, I've had days like that and even worse.

When my wife went into labor with our last child, I rushed straight to the hospital and made it in record time. The wrong hospital. I had gone to the one where she had our first son just because I was so tired and excited. What a dumnass...

Glad you got her figured out though...
