should this be rubber or metal?

Just wondering what material the drain plug washer is, I have a metal one the came with the car, but i think i have a rubber one in the glove box... which one should i use?

well, i looks like my metal one doesn't seal everywell, it drips a lil bit, so i was just thinking the rubber one that i found in the glove compartment might work better, but i don't know if that could take the heat.

Are you talking about the drain plug for the wiper fluid??? If so what kind of head are you talking about?

It should be metal. Make sure the mating surfaces are clean and the washer is in good condition. If it still leaks, replace it. You might find one at a lube shop.

yeah, the rubber one would rot in a matter of time, especially if there's oil dripping on it...

I think mine's plastic or something....might be metal, I'm not sure.
