should my cat be smoking?

should my cat be smoking?
i looked under the car after running it for a while and it appeared the cat was smoking...im running a 13B with a RB header, into a catco high flow cat. anyone know? is it supposed to do it? can i fix it?

Probably just some road grime or maybe a critter you hit burnin' off the cat. Does it smell like BBQ?

You've probably oil or other liquid on them and it's just burning off, there's no other reason a cat would smoke.

thanks guys, as for removing the cat, i want to pass visual inspections and maybe even breath tommorrow...a high-flow cat is good enough.

If you are running really rich it could glow orange and smoke. It also won't live much longer. It may also smoke if it is clogged but the car would run like crap at this point.
