Red face A Short Film on My ‘83 RX-7 (4K)

I made a little tribute film to my 83 that I’ve been working on. Wanted to document it and what it’s done for me before it’s gone. Hope you enjoy - nothing too technical or crazy. Just a celebration of what makes these cars so great, even today:

Great story, well told. Our tinker-toy simple car. Visceral driving experience. And prob most of us have experienced at least some element of your story. Which kinda makes it everyones...
Thanks. And welcome back.

Thanks, Stu. Hope the warmer weather is treating you great. Except I will say you're missing out on FB+Winter Tires. This last one was a BLAST!

The stock wheels have the winter tires on them. Which were INCREDIBLY tough to find because there wasn't a single 13" winter tire in stock in North America. Luckily I found some on ebay someone had imported for their Kei Car that they didn't end up using. Love the waffles, too, though - these ones are in nice shape.

When I lived in Pittsburgh PA back in the mid eighties my 7 was my DD for work. Each November I would get 4 studded snows swapped on and in April they would get removed. Never got stuck in the snow with the 7. Didn't hurt that I grew up in Missouri where driving in the snow is something I learned early in life. So much fun on those days!
