Take it off and throw it away. I picked up a momo on ebay for about $20, it shortened the shifter over on inch. looks and feels way better. I also replaced the greenish boot while I was at it.

Momo's are one size. They use set screws and rubber caps for the top of the shifter. Pop the right cap on, slide the **** over it and tighten the screws. USE LOCTITE! trust me on this one.

Hey Jim, trust me, you don;t need to throw out the **** or buy a new one. I "just " painted mine ( as well as the rubber boot as I bet yours is brownish also)...and it came out perfect for the cost of $8.00 (paint)..now, the best paint to use is SEM brand. Color : Burgundy. It is a fexible paint that is used for flexible platsics/rubber. It worked GREAT!!. But make sure you prep. the item you are to paint well. ( ie: I bought some vinyl cleaner but you can use alcohol ...the point is ..GET IT CLEAN ).. Let me know if you have any questions...why pay $$$ to buy a new one etc when this will do....Trust me!!....cjf
