Shes Almost On The Road Again!!

Ok, after tons of work and effort, all I have left to do with my car is install the new radiator hoses, wire the electric fan, figure out whats up with the way the tranny mounts, finish installing the exhaust from the header/presilencer back, change the diff oil, and pour in the tranny oil. Hopefully she will start up and run well . One thing that kinda has me worried is the fact that my Dad used rubbing alchohol to clean the flywheel with before we put the clutch on, and I was thinking that it wasnt such a good idea...Any thoughts on this? Its a little late now, its all together, but at least I should be able to expect problems...

As long as it was the Isopropyl version of rubbing alcohol with a high percentage of purity. The rubbing alcohol would evaporate with little trace of impurities then before you were able to put it together so there should not be any problems.

Im sure it was Isopropyl, so thats good news then. The label reads exactly this "Isopropyl rubbing alchohol, 99% isopropyl alchohol by volume" So youre saying that it should be fine eh? Well thats good news . Thanks. Anyone else care to comment?

PS - Respond to my thread about the tranny crossmember .

Rotormotordriver (Eeesh, have a longer name!) Nice! One of these days I would like to do something different to my car, but I haven't the funding for that kinda project yet! Hee hee hee. Bills to pay, and gotta get my 7 legal first!

Cpt Gloval! I gotta find out how to make that avatar of yours the background for my cell phone! Can you e-mail that image to me? that would just rock! LOL
