the seven wont start
alrighhtttt..well i went camping for 3 days came back, started the rex and the coolant light came on, so i turned it off, toped it up although it didnt need much at all but i topped it up anyways.. i went to go start the car after i was done but it wouldnt start and hasnt for the past 2 days now...what gives??? i am thinking i might need a new ignition system seeing as how i think it was going before, it would idle funny and bag out at around 5000 rpm in 3rd 4th and 5th gears? that may not be the ignition systems fault though but thats what ima try first. if not the ignition system what else could it be???
thx alot
Blake
p.s. ---> its an 84 gsl by the way with nothing modded but a fart can muffler and a cold air intake

I'm guessing you didn't let it heat up before topping off the Coolant.
Sounds like he might have flooded the engine maybe? I never have that problem, but then again, I allways let my car heat up before even thinking to shut it off... Well most the time.
If it's manual you could allways try Push starting it. If that starts it. Then it's either the Starter or the Battery Terminals, could be other things, but I'd suspect that.
Oh and change the plugs anyways, that's just good Car Mainanence there! Heck do a complete Tune-Up. Allways a good idea for a used car that you don't know much history wise.

i think you're looking at the vent bowl. Is the vent bowl solenoid hooked up? You should see a plug with wires coming out from the area just below the fuel inlets. That connector needs to be connected or you'll have problems with flooding.
have you run through the stuff in the mother of all no-start threads?
