that sucks, but...

I think to many rotors all over your car is a bit of overkill. A rotor alt. pully, oil fill cap, and other things would just be too much. My cousin has "Z's" all over his 240z and its getting old. (centercaps, belt buckles, wheel, center console, exterior, interior, underhood, everywhere!)

anyway, just my opinion

Thanks for the info, but I am very familiar with RB. Exhaust, Intake, Carb, Header, Oil cap. And for the guy he thinks too much rotary is overkill. Agreed. Only have an oil cap and gauge faces with rotary. This was to be the final peice.

Don't buy that. I have it. I know the guy that machines them. There's nothing wrong with the workmanship, it's with the design. The main pulley is WAY too small to be of any use. The water pump puley is machined for a 2nd gen water pump. It doesn't fit the 1st gen pumps although they look basically the same. The 2nd gen pulley is deeper. If you try to install this on the 1st gen, it will not go on far enough and hit the water pump itself. You'd need to use a 2nd gen pump with it. I have a 1st and 2nd gen btw and have tried it on both. If the main pulley was of a decent size and had the provisions to add the other pullies in front of it, I'd actually use it.

I had a problem with belts breaking on my old 2nd gen. I couldn't figure it out for a long time. I tried different belts, checked pulley straightness, etc. It baffled me. It turns out there was some slight roughness on the pulley itself that was eroding the belt fairly quickly. It wasn't that much when you looked at it and I never thought it would kill a belt. I took a small hand file around the whole pulley where the belt rides just to make sure it was smooth. Never broke another belt again.

Thank god !

Thanks for the info. Sounds like you prety much went through the same thing I have went through. I am going to go with the double pulley from Racing Beat. Until then I will check for any roughness and file them down.
