Seat Rails?

I just got a set of generic racing seats. They have 4 mounting points on the bottom.
If I put the stock rails on the bottom, the holes are about 1/2 inch too far apart. When both the rails are attached they line up about an inch too narrow for the floor.

Does anyone know a good source of rails for the 1st Gen RX-7?

Thanks,
Ed

You are going to have to fabricate something strong, then drill and tap it.

In the meantime, stick with your stock seats. No sense putting your safety at risk.

Does anyone make seats that work with the stock rails and are decent for autocrossing?

Thanks,
Ed

miata seats are not easy to install...you need to fab some custom braqckets as you would for the seats you already have...

couldnt you just use mounting brackets that are used on the momo or sparco seats?

I've got a corebeu seat in my 79 that I use for autocross, and they sell a sliding bracket for the seat . I 'm sure the seat that you bought has the same.
