Question SE related question. (idle/throttle blip)

Ok... so I was having troubles earlier w/ the SE and the secondaries... loosing top end and so on... but after a bottle of injector cleaner it seems to have fixed itself... I also flushed my power steering fluid, filled it back up, and bled. And then the radiator hose to the engine broke so I flushed that and redid that. My AC compressor (or whatever it is that belt connects to) was shooting sparks above 5500 so I removed the belt (didn't work anyways).
Alls fine and dandy but I have a couple of probs now.

When she idles it seems like sometimes she tries to idle around 400-500 and will hiccups and get more gas and then go back down.... and when she's cold in the morning she has even tried to stall a couple of times. When it sits there it will be smooth and then blip a few times (or maybe it's missing *shrug*) it's very erratic. At other times I'll come to a stop and she'll idle around 800-900 just fine and smooth.

ALSO if I floor the gas (or even if I let off then get on quick again in gear) it feels like it hiccups... so it will give it a shot of gas and then cut off then give it gas again... like a hiccup.

TIA
Chris...

You think it might be not enough air? would that cause the odd throttle blip I get? I don't really know much about the whole FI stuff. It has a new Air filter... and I'll lookup how to check the AFM and check it tonight.

I was having a problem w/ my top end before... It seemed like it didn't pull like it useto so I was guessing that my 5th and 6th port wern't opening up because I had just installed a high-flow cat. But like I said... it seems pull now no problem... dosn't pull in 1st gear in the top end but 2,3,4... it definally pulls in the top end. I'm new to the SE. It's also been a while since I've driven a reX too. My 84 was my frist car and I loved that thing... and learned alot... But the SE throws me for a loop here and there. (thats what I ment by 2ndaries maby I was refering to it wrong)

Maby my injectors need cleaned... how much does that cost?!
What else can I do/check to make sure I'm getting exactly what I should out of the SE?! I don't know ANYONE around me or remotly close that has an SE I could drive to see if I'm just being paranoid.

there are only 2 things it can be.

1)air(intake/exhaust)
2)fuel(injectors)
3)spark(plugs/wires)

check your fuel/air ratio. How is your gas mileage ?

You mention exhaust... I did just put a highflow cat on... what in the exhaust might cause these problems?

I just finished reading "Solving GSL-SE Idle Problems by David Lane" so I have ALOT more to work w/ now... and I also recently replaced the plugs, wires, and cap&rotor. I'm gonna go out and buy another set of plugs. (just in case) and run through all the test and adjustments of what I just read. I'll see what I come up w/ after that.

I can't really be to sure of that right now... I just got the car not but a couple of weeks ago and last tank of gas wouldn't be a good gauage becaue I lost a bit when I changed the fuel filter and I also did ATF (w/ mmo) treatment on that tank. I'll log and watch it tho... thanks for your suggestions.

2)fuel(injectors)
Have you ever had them cleaned? How hard is it to get at them and how much will it cost? Where can I take them? Might be a good idea to do them anyways while I'm at it if it's not that hard.
