Have any of you guys delt with them for rear differential mounts? I bought one off him over 2weeks ago and still haven't got it. I paid for priority 2-3day shipping. After seeing his most recent feedback it seems he hasn't been shipping out any of his items. I wish I had a phone number to get ahold of him because he doesn't respond to any buyers email.

 

The name sometimes says it all. I bought a car from a guy that owned Swindle's Auto Sales. Yep, you know it turned out to be a POS.

I ordered the solid motor mounts from him, same result. No product, no contact.

I checked his feedback last night and it has gone in the crapper lately. Imho, if I use the 'Buy it Now' option, then the product should be ready to ship NOW, not one or 2 months later.

 

I had the same problem but in the long run you will get your stuff or get refunded.

 

Scalliwag's a good guy and he's made a LOT of poeple here good deals. He's probably hit a complication in life or something and is coping with that now. Be patient...if nothing else, at least wait until the very last day to file a complaint to give him time.

I can almost gauruntee he's just goten tied up in something else, or something has happened to him himself.

 

thats why I'm going to wait a month or so before complaining to ebay, everybody runs into difficult times. I'm getting sick of my vert sitting on jackstands in my garage though, it's the only part I need to get back on the road But all the funds are there to ship my item cause I supplied it.

 

well I'm not promoting nor defending him, I was just offering a little bit of my own insight.

 

Damn....are we now going to allow even these kinds of threads in what was formally a "tech only" board? Why not just go ahead and allow everyone to start posting classifieds here, too? Just one giant 1stgen section, anything goes...

ps. Scalliwag is in the process of revamping his shop if I understood the conversations right at the Quad State Rotary BBQ just held this past weekend in Arlington, TX. The man is a saint, BTW, you're not getting screwed...

 

I'm glad to hear that last part! Sorry for posting in the 1st gen section but if posted anywhere else it would not get nearly the attention it did if any at all.

 

It does get attention in other sections. The Good/Bad forum is very active.
