Question SC power upgrade

Ok what can i say i did alot of work this weekend. I have an intake custom. Don't ask where or how much. It fits a 12a i have the new pulley. It is at a ratio of 1.35. I think perfect. It is all ready to bolt on but i can;t right now too afraid of blowing the spare motor and i have to have my car right not. But what kind of power will i get from an eaton 82 at pulley ratio of 1.35 On a stock 12a? And the same thing on a Street port? I am currently tearing down a good 12 just to street port it. But i have a full rebuild kit and soon some apex seals from france. I am using an intercooler set up. And this is not a blowthrough. I know this is insane but what numbers am i looking at?

Hey sterling i wanna here your specs and thoughts. I may gte this done this weekend but if i do not it will be 4 months before i will get to wokr on this again.

Peejay i know you have some thing to say so lets hear it.

WEll thanks

sorry but my Magic 8 Ball is broke right now, So I will have to guess on my own. I'd say anywhere from 50 to 250 at the front wheels

50-250 at the front wheels???????? Right now i have 0 at the front wheels. I just thought some one could have a rough guess. I know this is treading into a new area. But if this pays off i could sell some kits at reasonable price. And you all could whip the crap out of TII for half the money.

Yep, it's hard to say without knowing the rest of the setup... possibly 200hp or more. If the engine holds together!

What I'd do, is get the 85psi oil pressure regulator from Racing Beat. It's extremely easy to install once you get the oil pan off, the regulator is located right where the rear (long) oil cooler line goes in. It comes off with a large (1"? 1 1/6"?) open end wrench. I forgot to put mine on when assembling my engine, and remembered just as I was putting the oil pan on. It's a tight fit to get the wrench in there, but once cracked loose it threads right off.

It'd be a very good idea to retard timing, I'd say 5-6 degrees to start with. And run only premium fuel, of course... and get an O2 sensor, and let out if O2 voltage dips below .9v under boost. EGT gauge would also be a very good idea. Wouldn't want to run lean and kill the engine!

I'm very tentative in recommending anything other than the basics above, 'cos this is all getting into the zone where I'm still learning myself! Hate ta give any bad advice and steer ya wrong, y'know.

If you remember the pics of my car it is not gonna be on the raod as daily driver mutch i have the pressure regualtor already in. I did that when i installed The new oil cooler and motor. I talked to the company in france making those different type of apex seals. I love work call international and they nerv notice. They said there seals will hold up to the abuse and they will back that up with if i blow it they will pay for a new rebuild. I am reall tempted to bridge port my motor that is gonna be the beast for the charger. I was just wondering if i could slap on the charger and run it low i mean shifting way low like 6k. And go around and make a few local punks die after they hear that i have no valves or cylinders. See i am leaving for the next 4 months in a week and i have my second motor getting rebuilt while i am gone so if i blow this motor. It really will not bother me. I just wanna stop this kids *** he has a thunder bird sc. WEll i have the oil presure regualtor on this motor. The next one has the boost egt and air setup. So it will be in good shape plus the motor am i using has leess than 30 k on it and when the housing came off it looked brand new. When i get this all the was done it will be oct. But i will be posting lots of numbers. I hate to say it but by the time i am done it will have just a little hit of the bottle to make launch off line. Also a four link year end and some other goodies. luckily i have a lot of spare parts cause i have good feeling until i get it under control parts will go a chucking. Well i am way behind you on rotaries so any knowledge is appreciated. And steering me in the wrong is not a problem. I always like go the wrong way and i always end up in the right lane.

I wouldn't worry so much about the apex seals, so much as all the extra heat you'll have to reject.

I thought about dropping a monster radiator in there. Like a bid 4 core street rod one they have them that will fit right in the seven. One of my friends said to double stack radiators. But i don't know. As normal us poor people just gootta wing it every which way we can. Did my last post make sense. i thought i was rambling on. But since i am at wokr i just keep typing and not working.
