"Savanna" Rx7?

What is this Savanna Rx7? Was it a certain model sold. It is on several games etc. As far as i can tel the only difference is the side mirrors being on the front fenders.. What makes it so special?

It doesn't look any different from a NA spec RX-7.

Mazda used the Savanna designation for RX-3's and 1st/2nd gen RX-7's.

Does Manntis still sell the Savannah badges?

"if you've seen an S4, this is what it looks like."

So wrong in SO many ways. Savannah's, although the name MAY have continued on to the FC, were FB (SA's, technically). They were no different than the S1 or the S2. The biggest advantage? The S3's didn't have the UGLY *** old lady interior that the S3's here had.

i like the though of having a savannah and have even thought about turning my SA into one cosmetically, but i dont think the mirrors would be usable.

Yes the missors are useable. I have a 63 comet with a similar setup. Takes a little getting used to but work ok. Chas waiting for someone to post those pics.

And that's a good thing?? Sorry, never did much care for mister 2's.

I have to disagree with jays83gsl a little. They weren't just FB's. I'm pretty sure the original '79 SA was called a Savanna in Japan.
