I'm prepping my early 79 for a full re-spray and started wondering. Does the early front badge (the one with chrome edges, have 2 tabs or three? I think it's 2. Are the they in the same place as two of the three on the FB badge?

Its 2 tabs and 2 of them line up to the FB badge tabs. I have an FB one on my
car right now, its all black. Kind of the reverse of what you are asking but fits the bill I think.

 

Oh, I'm totally gonna put one of my SA badges on my FB now.
