Where you can, I would swap in the LED version. There are TWO styles of dash/instrument bulbs. I Have only been able to source LEDs for the larger ones. PDF with info attached

But WILL say LEDs in cluster made an E-P-I-C improvement in brightness and legibility!!! Had not realized how dull the punky little oldies were. Caveat: I do not think these are DIMMABLE thru the rheostat! That said the 'new' brightness was not at all TOO bright to even require dimming...

I just got 194 LED replacements and put them in for these and they work great. A 194 is a pretty standard bulb for small lights on most vehicles.

Nice raven! thanks for the link. So, confused by your comment "was extremely hard to convert to LED..."
What was? Finding the bulbs? install? I have pulled my cluster numerous times, so the install seems pretty straight-forward. To ME. But maybe more daunting for newbie. Curious...

Ah. No worries. But your contribution here to that 2nd bulb-type has REALLY helped me, since I could only swap in the larger set of then-known LED substitutes. Ordered those you linked! Many thanks-

Hey guys, the bulbs indicated above are too big. The ones I need are the really small ones.
1/3 the size of the 158.
