Exclamation New cluster question

I recently switched out my cluster with a different one. The mileage part on my old one went out and I'm not sure what it was. My question is, does the mileage stay the same? Is it stored in the ECU? Or do I have to send out my cluster to have the correct mileage put on it?

It is stored in the cluster. You would have to send it out to be corrected. You must have proof of the original mileage for the company to do the odometer correction.
