Sa 1980 has no spark, help please

I’m a 20+ year fb owner and I am currently stumped.

I just acquired a 1980 that quit running one day on the previous owner. Got a good deal

1: verified compression, 3 good pulses from each rotor
2: has fuel, pump works
3: tried priming it, suspecting it was a fuel issue
4: discovered “no spark”
5: battery connections sucked, redid them, no success
6: verified power going to the coils
7: verified all 3 fusible links ok and engine fuse ok
8: swapper igniter connectors to test for a bad igniter
9:swapped coil wires to test for a bad coil
10: verified timing with a static setting
11: cap and rotor look good

all my spare parts (dizzy, igniters, etc are all FB)

Many May recognize me for my supercharged gslse

Im really stumped with this

any other suggestions please

I had a similar issue on my 85 and it ended up being a chewed wire for the ground to the coils. I found it near the ecu. I repaired the wire and I once again had spark. Have you gone through and checked the ground connections? I can always look in my 1980 FSM wiring diagram after work and send you some pictures of the circuitof you'd like.

1) no mention of new plugs. After a winters storage, my 80 SA would not start in spring. Replaced pretty much everything electric, but plugs - which "looked" fine. No go. New plugs: Boom.
2) condition of battery CABLES? If original, or unknown age, these can create all sorts of grief. If you do not know their history, replace...
