S5 coils and cas in GSL-SE? can it be done

i know there is probably someone out there that has done this. but ive spent all day yesterday and a few hours today looking threw old posts and the archive. i just want to take out the stock FB coils and throw in the FC coils and CAS. well in a manner of speaking. I've got the CAS and found a guy that has the coils for only 15 dollars which is way cheaper than anywhere i know of. i dont like doing it the way most guys do it with the stock distributor still half hooked up looks messy to me. im not knocking it though but i would like some help.

The coil portion has been covered a 100 times.

You cannot use the trailing coil or CAS unless you use the ECU from the S5. The trailing coil gets triggered by the ECU.

The leading coil is a simple upgrade and the thread is listed in the archives.

Warning about the usage of the S5 ECU. If you do not use the S5 OMP then the computer will go into limp mode.
Also you would have do a complete swap over to the S5 intake/injection system.

Don't you already have an S4 ECU? Or are you using a GSL-SE ECU? If you have the S4 ECU, you can use the CAS and coils without a problem (as long as you still have that part of the harness).

no its gslse. i didnt what to do all the wiring and splicing work more so that what i had to do to keep all the stock gauges working and at the time i didnt know much about how the systems worked. i think if i keep the car im going to do a microtech ecu and harness they are only $1100 and that has everything but the coils and i have the coils now so i wont need the Bosch ones that cost 200 more that what im paying now. ill install it all myself. I'm more comfortable with wiring now that ive had to do some rewiring with some stuff i have hooked up. used to hate playing with that stuff. if i still have it after i get out of bootcamp im going to start the conversion.

its going to be complete s4 or s5 intake, rpm controller for the six ports, headers, full exhaust, laptop, Microtech LT10, 2 850cc injectors, 2 1050cc injectors. electric fan no emissions. a/c will be hooked back up. plans are to have a reliable setup that will idle right not be cold natured. and if i romp on it it will not **** its self. if that makes since.

the engine and ports are the only thing S4 in it most is the GSL-SE.
