is it an S5?

Im rebuilding the rotary, and got the turbo off. I found that it looks exactly like the Kouki version. does this mean i have an S5 engine?

It's possible, mine is an S5, and the turbo manifold looks just like the bottom one. Take pictures of the oil metering pump on your engine, that is a pretty sure way to tell what it is.(assumine no one swapped things around, which is unlikely)

Does the turbo have a duel wastegate posts on the back of the turbo on the hot side?

Yeah also check the oil metering pump too if it's big and bulky and has electrical wires coming off of it it's an s5

Yes, S5 has 2 TPS's. does anyone else find it funny that this was posted in the first gen section? Not that I have a problem with it, seeing as I do the same thing about my T2 swap. Just kinda funny.
