n00b question, dont hate: how much power
would a s5 motor make with my mods:
1985 GSL-SE-white
S5 13b w/2000 miles on rebuild
Street Port
RB header
black magic electric fan
new clutch
eibach springs
tokico 5-way adjustable shocks
lightened flywheel
haltech ecu
drilled/slotted rotors up front (back to be installed)
theoretically what kind of cars would i be able to keep up with? assuming i was a decent driver.
im only asking because i came across a turbo civic a few weeks back. it was a mid 90s model i think. 4 people inside.
anyways, anyone running a similar set up? what kind of power are you making?

my guess is about 185-190 to the wheels ... teh Sp can vary alot from who built it.I'm assuming this is the NA S5 engine with still the Higher compression rotors as oppose to the lower ones found on the turbo model, if using lower comp numbers may be 10hp less then metioned.
It would be impossible to say if you could run with the turbo civic without knowing what's under the hood.
That being said, your car should be fast enough to keep up with damn near anything if you are a good enough driver on any autocross/road course type stuff. I wouldn't go drag racing with it though, but if your big into dragging you should get some American muscle instead of Japanese finesse.
