S4 TII water pump for water cooled turbo

Pretty much as the title says, I'm planning on using the TII water pump housing because it comes with ports for water cooling a turbo. I just want to make sure that the plumbing will be as easy as I think it should be.... Meaning just hookup a hose from each of the two ports to the cooling sides of the turbo. I know that Jeff20B indicated in the archives that this should work I'm just looking for some verification that someone else did this.

Thanks guys!
Bryan

the stock T2 has one barb for the turbo on the water pump, which is really well located for any turbo, so its nice to use.

on the stock T2 the other hose comes from the rear rotor housings water passage, although the second water nipple should work just fine, it doesn't need a ton of flow

I hear that the second barb for the turbo was on the rear rotor housing, but since this is going on a 12A I won't have that barb. I just needed to make sure that water would flow from the lower radiator hose location to the back of the housing Via the turbo.

Thanks!

Another option would be if your rear iron has a nipple for the thermowax. You could use it for your turbo. Obviously your 12A won't have it, but any 84 and later EFI engine does.
