S2 Or S3 12a?

I am trying to get a low miles 12a to rebuild and streetport. I am wondering what would be better and why? If there are any differances. Thanks.

Oh and I do want to go with the 225mm clutch so 83 vs. 84-85.

IIRC, 83 comes with lighter rotors and flywheel. its more desirable

83-91 non turbo cars all use a 225 clutch. If you don't care about the "beehive" oil cooler on the 83-85 12A, that's the best years. You can always change the "beehive" out for a FMOC.

83-85 12A engines are all the same. All have the lighter rotors, and all use the 225mm clutch.
This is partly why the 83 is sometimes refered to as a "S 2.5" The body is S2, engine is S3.
